The Menorah Manor and Menorah Manor Foundation Boards are pleased to announce the appointment of Robert J. Becht, MBA, JD, as our next Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Becht’s tenure as CEO will commence on Monday, February 15, 2021. Mr. Becht is succeeding Rob Goldstein who is retiring after 24 years with Menorah Manor, including serving as CEO for the past 6 years. During Mr. Goldstein’s time as CEO, Menorah Manor achieved a Five Star rating, the highest possible from the State of Florida and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He was recently named Executive of the Year by LeadingAge Florida, the state’s leading senior care advocacy association.
Robert Becht comes to Menorah Manor with a significant and substantial skill-set honed throughout his impressive career, which has specifically focused on senior leadership roles in healthcare and higher education. Most recently, Mr. Becht served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Operations Officer for Miami Jewish Health, a prominent non-profit long term care organization based in Miami, Florida. Previous communities benefiting from his leadership include the University of Notre Dame, University of Miami, and a multi-state health facility management company. Robert has significant hands-on organizational leadership and operational experience in skilled nursing and acute care settings.

He is committed to our mission of providing the best possible care, in a warm, homelike, Jewish environment.”
Robert Becht has been married to Lori for over 30 years. Lori also works in healthcare, in radiation oncology creating treatment plans for cancer patients. Personally, Robert enjoys spending time with family, sports, especially Notre Dame football, the environment, gardening, and outdoor activities. Robert graduated magna cum laude from University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Finance/Accounting, summa cum laude from University of Miami with an MBA in business and healthcare administration, and magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School with a JD, and is licensed to practice law in Arizona.
